Christina Lampey

Christina Lampey is British Qualified dietitian, with a licence to practice in New Zealand, with over 10 years experience.  She has an undergraduate degree in Food and Human Nutrition, a postgraduate diploma in Dietetic and postgraduate Certificate in Sport and Exercise Nutrition.

Christina is passionate about nutrition and it impact on health.  She is based in Taupo and will be covering both the Taupo and Hawkes Bay regions as a community dietitian. Christina works with her ACC clients to optimise their nutrition post trauma and to support their rehabilitation journey. Christina provides nutrition advice and support for people with non-serious injuries, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and a number of other health conditions.

In addition to her ACC work with ABC Nutrition, Christina also works as a clinical dietitian role at Starship Child Health, Christina has experience in many areas but currently specialises in Paediatric Diabetes, Type 1, Type 2 and MODY and all Ketogenic diet therapies for the management of epilspsy.   She also works in private practice with adults and children with special interest in improve the overall health of her client through an holistic approach to food and nutrition.  

Outside work Christina has 2 small children who keep her very busy. When time allows she tries to make time for running, mountain biking, rowing, on occasion extreme sports and meeting up with friends. 

Christina is currently on leave and not taking on new clients at this time.
