Melissa is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian and has over 7 years’ clinical dietitian experience. She has worked with a variety of clients, both adults and children, throughout New Zealand and in the UK. During this time, she has worked as a community dietitian and a digital dietitian.

Melissa is passionate about helping people make sustainable lifestyle changes and supports individuals to become their best selves. She understands the importance of making balanced and realistic lifestyle changes and helps clients to meet their goals whilst enjoying delicious food and creating a lifestyle they love. Her specialties lie in weight management and lifestyle change, long term health conditions, gut health (including FODMAP diets) and paediatric food allergies and food aversions. Melissa has also completed her certificate in paediatric nutrition and dietetics and is a Monash Accredited FODMAP dietitian. 

Outside of work, Melissa is a mum to a baby boy and an energetic dog. You can find her out walking/running and enjoying meals with friends and family at home or at new cafes/restaurants!

  • Inflammation - gout, arthritis

  • Oncology - nutrition support for those with or recovering from cancer

  • Nutrition for older adults - including osteoporosis

  • Nutrition to support rehabilitation and trauma - traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, serious injury, pain management, wound healing, sensitive claims
